Doug is a Sophomore at Wagner College in Staten Island, New York majoring in Theater Performance and minoring in Journalism.
Since the age of five, Doug has done runway and print modeling, and by the age of eight was performing in musical theater productions such as Rogers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella”, “Snow White”, “Winnie the Pooh” and “Beauty and the Beast” just to name a few, all receiving rave reviews. In December of 2009 he played the lead role of George Bailey in Ocean City High School’s Production of “It’s a Wonderful Life” and in the Spring of 2010 he played the iconic role of Don Lockwood in “Singin’ in the Rain”.
He has studied voice under the direction of famed vocal coach Joe Bousard of Scottsdale, Arizona, and most recently, Sal Dupree of Linwood, N.J., (Star of the hit film “Standing Ovation”) who has trained the likes of Tiffany Evans (winner of Star Search), and Bianca Ryan, (winner of America’s Got Talent). He has taken piano instruction from Maestro Richard De Karski of Northfield, N.J., and eventually wants to incorporate song writing into his repertoire. Enjoying all forms of the entertainment industry and all genres of music, Doug is anxious to perform. With his incredible talent and impeccable interpretation of lyrics, if it’s a song, he can sing it!
